What is this about?


Several critical security vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Windows Infrastructure known as zero-day vulnerability. Microsoft released 50 security fixes  for Windows operating systems and supported software, including fixes for six zero-day bugs that malicious hackers already are exploiting in active attacks.

Why is it important to apply these patches without delay?


There are a lot of vulnerabilities reported as part of this,  and many of them are critical which can badly impact the infra , if not taken care of. Microsoft warns that bad guys are leveraging a half-dozen of those weaknesses to break into computers in targeted attacks. Hence it is vital for us to apply the  patches as soon as possible to safeguard our customer accounts.


Schedule of the Work:


We are installing patches/updates to our Windows Hosting servers to mitigate the reported vulnerabilities. Although the maintenance window is long, the services will only be down during server reboots.
