The issue occurred due to a change in the workflow where a condition in the renewal flow was missing, and hence the intermittent issue with renewal. Our development team has uploaded a code fix and you should now be able to renew the orders from your control panel.
Though the service is backup we are monitoring the same to ensure the issue does not recur.
