An unintended bug was introduced in the code during network segmentation activity performed on 5th Jan. The service was restarted and some other changes made previously hindered the whole process. The necessary fix was in place post which the service was back up.
Our development team has fixed this issue. You should now be able to get appropriate responses for domain check availability calls made either from Supersite or API. Our development team is closely monitoring this to ensure that there is no further outage.
We are currently experiencing an intermittent issue with domain check availability service on Orderbox. Any check availability call made via API or Supersite would either not respond or may yield an error.
Our development team is currently investigating this issue to get the service back up at the earliest.
