Intermittent issue with Orderbox

Resolved

The System Administration Team identified that certain new queries and new automation scripts added load on our central logging servers and this, in turn, started to increase the load on our database. In order to fix this, we have begun optimizing the archival automation scripts to reduce the load As a long term measure we are profiling all the scripts and SQL queries to identify how best we can distribute the load by adding additional nodes and routing specific resource consuming queries to specific endpoints. We are closing this incident based on the above findings. Please reach out to the support team if there are any questions.

Monitoring

Our system administration team had identified a couple of factors that were causing load on our servers. As an immediate measure, we had to fail time-consuming queries and restarted the servers to get the services back up. We are closely monitoring the services to ensure there is no further disruption of services. We will provide an RCA as soon as possible.

Investigating

We are currently facing issues with OrderBox causing intermittent issues while accessing the control Panel, making API calls & managing orders.


Our System Administration Team is already working on this issue and are trying to fix this as soon as possible.
