Some process running on the Check Availability Servers went rouge and utilized most of the system resources.
High resource usage caused a connection leak which caused loss in connectivity.
We managed to kill the rouge process and connections were back up. We have monitored the same for quite some time now and the issue now stands fixed.
Connectivity issues with Verisign Registry have been resolved.
All new actions for Registration, Renewal or Transfer should go through successfully now.
We will continue to actively monitor the connections to prevent any connectivity issue from occurring again.
We are currently facing intermittent connectivity issues with Verisign Registry. Due to this, you may not be able to complete actions that require registry connections such as domain name registrations, renewals, transfers, nameserver modifications etc.
Please note that this will have no impact on the resolution/working of your already registered domain names.
We are working with the Registry to get this issue resolved at the earliest.
