Errors While Accessing Our Managed DNS Service

Root Cause Analysis:


The error while accessing our DNS Service was due to change in session management configuration caused by HA Proxy upgrade which was carried out earlier that day. 


Our system admin team identified that HA proxy upgrade deprecated the old session management configuration. Due to this, the Manage DNS was not working correctly from the panel.


To avoid the damage, our System Administration team made necessary changes to the HA Proxy config post which the Manage DNS services started functioning seamlessly. 


Our System Administration Team has closely monitored the issue, to ensure there are no reoccurrences of the issue.

Resolved

This issue is now resolved. It was a temporary issue with the DNS database configuration and the development team has taken necessary measures to fix it.

Investigating

We are currently facing issues with our Managed DNS Servers due to which when you click on Manage DNS, you may encounter an error.


Resolution of domains using OrderBox Name Servers will not be affected, however, you will face issues accessing the Manage DNS panel for all domains using the DNS Service provided by OrderBox. As a result, you will not be able to currently add/modify DNS records.


The Development Team has already been alerted and work is underway to get this issue resolved at the earliest. We will post updates as and when we have more information handy.
