Intermittent Connectivity Issues with .EU Registry

Root Cause Analysis:

Due to the excessive number of calls, domain calls were failing for .eu domains. On checking, our System Administration team figured that a large number of registration calls were being made for the same domain.

To avoid further damage, our System Administration team has suspended the resellers making the excessive number of calls.

Post this change, the API quota was refreshed and the domain registration services started functioning seamlessly.

Our System Administration Team has closely monitored the issue, to ensure there are no reoccurrences of the issue.

Investigating

We are currently facing intermittent connectivity issues with the .EU Registry, due to which we are getting ‘Data Management Policy Violation’ Error while placing the domain registration action.

We are working with the Registry to get this issue resolved at the earliest.

Please note that this will have no impact on the renewal, transfer, resolution/working of your already registered domain names.

Please reach out to the Support Team in case of any queries.
