Root Cause Analysis:
One of our Supersite servers stopped functioning though there was no high resource intensive process found. Our System Administration team suspected the issue was with the Kernel on the system.
To ensure the services were not affected further, our system administration team routed the services to one of our secondary servers. The supersite admin area was also put under maintenance, to avoid any changes on the Supersite. The Supersite frontend (Storefront) continued to function as normal.
The kernel was upgraded on the affected server and the services started functioning on the primary and the secondary servers, seamlessly.
Our system administration team closely monitored the server, to ensure there are no reoccurrences of the issue.
The affected server is operational now and all services are back up an running. The SuperSite Admin area is also accessible.
We will continue to monitor this to ensure that there are no reoccurrences of the issue.
A detailed Root Cause Analysis will be posted soon.
All supersites are back up and resolving now.
One of our supersite servers went down and hence we had to put the sites on maintenance mode.
We're now serving the Supersite traffic via our secondary server.
The affected server is undergoing a kernel upgrade and will be made live soon. Until then, the SuperSite Admin area will remain in maintenance mode. The SuperSite frontend (Storefront) will continue to function normally.
We are currently encountering an issue with our SuperSite servers, due to which you may face intermittent issues while accessing the Supersite.
Our System Admin team is already working on this, and efforts are ongoing to resolve the issue at the earliest. We will update this thread as soon as we have any further information.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please contact our Support team in case of any further queries or concerns.
