On investigating we found that SMTP service was not publicly available intermittently, and also found a non-pingable IP.
The system administration team has successfully fixed the issue on our email hosting servers and you should now be able to access Webmail interface, send and receive emails successfully without any issue.
A network glitch caused the IPs to fail and become unreachable. Our team had restarted the load balancer on certain server boxes and the issue has been resolved.
We would continue to actively monitor our email servers and will update this thread with further information.
We are currently facing intermittent issues with our Free, Business and Enterprise Email Services, due to which you will encounter an error while accessing the Webmail and also while sending/receiving emails.
Our System Administration team is currently investigating this issue and we will update this thread with additional information once available.
