We are in the process of aligning our web and email hosting services. As a part of this process, post 30th November 2018, we will start the process of splitting your customers’ web services orders into (i) Single Domain Hosting; and (ii) Business Email orders.
This is just a change in their order management panel and there will NOT be any service downtime or migration of your customers’ website data and emails.
For orders expiring post 30th November 2018, they will get a 30-day extension to renew them from the day their order is split. Any additional tenure left on the order post the 30-day extension will be refunded to their account automatically on a pro-rata basis. This credit can be used to buy or renew the web hosting order and/or business email order or any other order in their account.
How will this benefit you and your customers?
After the split, your customers will get the following benefits on their email package:
- Upgrade in disk space from 2GB to 5GB on every email account; and
- Mail Send Limit: 100 emails/hour/email account.
What changes for your customers going forward?
With their web services order being split into web hosting and email hosting orders, the renewal for the two orders will be charged separately. This means, the renewal cost for your customers’ email hosting order will increase for them and they will be charged based on the number of email accounts they wish to renew.
For example: If your customers have 20 email accounts and they wish to renew 15 of them, they will pay 15 multiplied by the renewal price per email account.
Illustration: Renewal cost of one email account is $0.50 and they renew 15 email accounts, they will pay 15 * 0.50 = $7.5/-
Kindly note: Before renewing the business email order, we suggest your customers review the email accounts created and delete the unwanted accounts. This way, they will pay for only the email accounts they need.
Additionally, the orders your customers have chosen to retain will not have the auto-renewal feature enabled. However, If they wish to enable it, they will have to do it manually on their control panel for the respective orders.
If you have any questions or concerns about this split we request you to kindly get in touch with our support team at the earliest.
