What does this product change mean for you?
There will be no functional changes to your backup product. This transition aims to enhance your overall experience.
What You Need to Do
The actions required depend on whether CodeGuard is part of your WordPress Suite:
If CodeGuard is included in your WordPress Suite:
- Download any critical backup files from CodeGuard to your local drive as soon as possible.
- On 14-July-2026, a new Xcitium Backup Order matching your current tenure will be added to your account. To ensure continuous backups, we will automatically setup Xcitium to backup your website on your associated Wordpress hosting.
- Your CodeGuard order will be deactivated on 14-July-2026.
If CodeGuard is a standalone service:
- Download any critical backup files from CodeGuard to your local drive as soon as possible.
- On 14-July-2026, a new Xcitium Backup Order matching your current tenure will be added to your account. To ensure continuous backups, you need to manually configure your Xcitium backup for your website as soon as this is added.
- On 28-July-2026, your CodeGuard order will be deactivated.
